Dad was a professional photographer who did work as a photographer for major movie studios and pulbicity magazines of the period before his induction.

When he was recalled to active duty during the korean conflict, my mother was pregnant with me.

Date: October 12, 2015 [edited from hard copy received with the album] I am sending my father, William James Rader's photo album detailing his tour in Kodiak during the Korean War in the US Navy.

He passed away in 1997 at 79 years of age from lung cancer.

Prior to this, my dad was in the OSS during WWII under the command of John Ford, the Hollywood film director's unit.
